The Kids Race is part of the Ecotrail Funchal and aims to introduce and engage young participants in sports, particularly in Trail Running.
The Kids Race includes two events: one approximately 800 meters long for the Infantis age group (under 13), and another approximately 1600 meters long for the Iniciados age group (under 15).
Both races will take place entirely within the grounds of Santa Catarina Park, allowing for better supervision of the athletes and enabling parents to visually follow their children's races.
The two races will be held prior to the awards ceremony of the main Ecotrail Funchal 2025 events, on October 19, 2025.
